Nintendo announced Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will launch on December 4 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. New Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Samus and Vi-O-La amiibo will release on November 6, followed by the launch of the Sylux amiibo alongside the game on December 4.
Moreover, the Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective book is releasing October 28, featuring concept drawings and behind-the-scenes illustrations from Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Metroid Prime Remastered, along with exclusive commentary from Producer Kensuke Tanabe and Retro Studios. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was showcased at length at the April 2 Nintendo Direct, which revealed the game’s Nintendo Switch 2 Edition version. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will include two different graphics options, Quality Mode and Performance Mode, which output at 4K 60 FPS and 1080p 120 FPS, respectively. Both of these modes will support HDR, and there’s even the option to play with mouse controls with Joy-Con 2.
