Marvelous and Marvelous First Studio has revealed a post-launch roadmap for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion. According to the roadmap, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion players can expect free updates and paid DLC throughout the remainder of 2025.
Firstly, a free update launches on October 2 featuring the rematch mission “Battle Grausam RT: Ω”. Finishing this mission grants new development equipment. There will also be two new bosses being added with the October 16, alongside more cosmetic items. The paid Into the Abyss Expansion Pack will launch in November, followed by a free update featuring three new bosses in December.
Previously, Marvelous released a new developer documentary for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion featuring series producer Kenichiro Tsukuda. In the developer documentary video, Tsukuda discussed his experiences with mecha, insights into the development approach for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, and an analysis of the game’s world.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is available now for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). The game is available digitally for $69.99. A Digital Deluxe Edition ($89.99) is available featuring Into the Abyss Expansion Pack with new story content and Arsenal and Outer customization options. A Super Deluxe Edition ($99.99) includes Deluxe Edition contents and a digital soundtrack and art book.
A free demo for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is available now, and it supports save data transfers to the full game. The demo includes the beginning of the game, allowing players to equip their Arsenal and enter the open world for the first time.
Final Weapon reviewed Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion and gave it a 4 out of 5 score, noting that the game is “a worthy sequel to the original Daemon X Machina, as it improves on its predecessor in nearly every regard.”
