Bandai Namco has revealed the official patch notes for Tekken 8 update 2.05 ahead of the update’s release on September 2 at 7:00 p.m. PDT / 10:00 p.m. EDT / 11:00 a.m. JST / 4:00 a.m. CEST. Tekken 8 update 2.05 will introduce a slew of character adjustments for the roster and new items for the Tekken Shop.

The following occurred due to character’s body shape parameter values in the “Beach Fun Pack” differing from the original:

- The character appearance is corrupted under certain circumstances.
- The game crashes when combined with certain items.

We will adjust the specifications and fix the bug in v2.05 scheduled to be released on 9/2 (Tue).
Before the patch is released, there will be maintenance on the servers starting at 6:30 p.m. PDT / 9:30 p.m. EDT. All online content will be unavailable during maintenance. Moreover, replays from previous patches will not be available after the update, and ghost data will reflect the behavior and performance changes after the update is applied.
During EVO 2025, Bandai Namco announced Tekken 8 DLC character Armor King will release on October 16 and revealed Miary Zo, a new DLC character hailing from Madagascar. Tekken 8 players who own the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass will unlock early access to Armor King on October 13, along with Miary Zo and the new Baobab Horizon stage this coming winter.
Lastly, Tekken 8 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
