During EVO 2025, Bandai Namco announced Tekken 8 DLC character Armor King will release on October 16 and revealed Miary Zo, a new DLC character hailing from Madagascar. Tekken 8 players who own the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass will unlock early access to Armor King on October 13, along with Miary Zo and the new Baobab Horizon stage this coming winter.
Previously, Tekken 8 DLC character Fahkumram launched on July 10. The release of Miary Zo will complete the release schedule for the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass. Bandai Namco has not revealed any plans for Tekken 8 Season 3.
Thus far, Tekken 8 has sold three million copies. This milestone was reached around the game’s first anniversary, and the game is on pace to sell faster than Tekken 7. As shown in the 1st anniversary trailer for Tekken 8, this series has seen massive growth, with new players coming in at every iteration. Bandai Namco thanks the players playing and being a part of the growth.
