PLAION announced a partnership with developer Pearl Abyss to distribute a physical edition of open-world action adventure game Crimson Desert in Q1 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S. More details about the Crimson Desert physical release will be announced at a later date.
“PLAION is already proving to be a strong partner for Pearl Abyss as we continue to grow in overseas markets,” Pearl Abyss CBO Kevin Kim said. “Partnering with PLAION with their global footprint will allow us to bring Crimson Desert to even more fans around the world. We are pleased to partner with a physical game distributor that shares our ambitious vision of an adventure set in the beautiful yet brutal continent of Pywel.”

Previously, Pearl Abyss delayed the release of Crimson Desert to Q1 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Crimson Desert was previously scheduled to release in late 2025.
