During Gamescom 2025, HoYoverse released the new “A Lantern in the Night” trailer for Genshin Impact teasing the new character Flins and the upcoming Nod-Krai region. Genshin Impact fans attending the annual event in Cologne, Germany can enjoy fun activities and programs showcasing the next major update.
Flins is one of the new characters making their debut with the next Genshin Impact expansion, which will introduce the Nod-Krai region. Genshin Impact’s offline booth experience at Hall 6, C031, showcases Nod-Krai with stage shows, exclusive merchandise, cosplay, limited-edition items from the HoYoverse Café, and activities with special rewards. In addition, live programs are being streamed from the show floor by Rocket Beans TV.
Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development, but a release date has not been announced yet. Support for the PlayStation 4 version of Genshin Impact will be ending on April 8, 2026 (UTC+8). According to HoYoverse, support on PS4 is ending due to hardware performance limitations and the application size of Genshin Impact going forward.
On September 10, 2025, Genshin Impact will be delisted from the PlayStation Store on PS4. In-game purchases will be removed completely on February 25, 2026. In addition, the minimum specifications of Genshin Impact will be changing with the end of support for the PS4 version.
