Square Enix announced Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will celebrate its two-year anniversary with a limited-time pop-up collaboration with Boba Bear in Koreatown at 414 S. Western Ave #C Los Angeles, CA 90020. The pop-up transforms the popular boba shop into the iconic Seventh Heaven Bar with themed drinks, décor, mini-games, photo ops, and more.
The Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis and Boba Bear pop-up collaboration begins on September 22 and runs through December 31, 2025. Before the grand opening, a special anniversary preview event will be held on September 7 from 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. PDT. Attendees will get a sneak peek at the venue, enjoy themed drinks, and chat with members of the Square Enix Community team.
Reservations for the anniversary event open on August 30 at https://www.bobabear.com. The company is also offering 25 Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis players the chance to gain Early Access from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. PDT. Early Access recipients will also receive free entry and one free drink. Players can submit their request to be considered for Early Access through August 24 at https://sqex.link/7ECBBS. Early Access recipients will be notified by via formal invite by Square Enix Customer Support representatives on or around August 28.
Moreover, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 in winter 2025. According to Naoki Hamaguchi, the power of Nintendo Switch 2 allows Square Enix to “recreate Midgar with full specs,” making the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy possible on the platform.
