JOCHUM Anime Season 2 Premieres on October 4

The staff for the JOCHUM anime has announced that season 2 is in production and will release on October 4, 2025. They have also revealed the first teaser for the second season. 

JOCHUM features characters created by Sanrio in collaboration with the Japanese boy band, JO1. Hazumu Sakuta will return to direct the new season at Fanworks. Yoichi Kato will also return to write and oversee the series scripts. The cast for the first season, which initially premiered in Summer 2024, is as follows:

  • Yuri Noguchi as PiHai
  • Kaito Takeda as Rain
  • Taichi Kusano as Micoon
  • Nanami Yoshimura as Chimata
  • Shoma Uno as Ya-nu-ka-mi
  • Sakura Kawaguchi as MAMEchi
  • Momo Ishibashi as Pop-poh
  • Masato Sugiyama as Chulala
  • Mahana Yamasaki as Moco
  • Kanon Amane as Ruru
  • Yūdai Mino as Bira

Recently, Sanrio and Sunblink announced that Hello Kitty Island Adventure is coming to PlayStation 5 on August 5. The PS5 version of Hello Kitty Island Adventure will be available digitally and physically. 

Physical editions for Hello Kitty Island Adventure for PS5 and Nintendo Switch will cost $39.99 and be available at local retailers on August 29. On November 7, the $59.99 Gift Box edition will release. It will include Deluxe Starter and Crafting Bundles, a printed Critter and Fish guide, a set of exclusive collectable cards, Tophat’s Memories, and a premium double-sided poster.

Before launch, Final Weapon had the opportunity to preview Hello Kitty Island Adventure, which showed that it was shaping up to be an excellent title at the time. Final Weapon also reviewed Hello Kitty Island Adventure and gave it a 4/5 score, claiming it to be the perfect vacation for Sanrio fans. The game is now available on Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcade, and PC via Steam.
