Koei Tecmo and Omega Force announced new Dynasty Warriors: Origins DLC and a remaster of a Dynasty Warriors game are currently in the works. The Dynasty Warriors: Origins DLC and remaster announcements were made in a newly released trailer celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Dynasty Warriors series.

Previously, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force released an update for Dynasty Warriors: Origins this past April, featuring the new Photo Mode and Lion Dragon Armor for the protagonist. Photo Mode may be accessed from the menu on the World Map or in battle while pressing the touch pad on PlayStation 5 in Dynasty Warriors: Origins.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, and it has exceeded one million copies sold. Both Dynasty Warriors Origins and the demo are PS5 Pro Enhanced. This means that the game supports PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution and additional features that boost resolution and frame rate on the platform.

Final Weapon reviewed Dynasty Warriors: Origins and gave it a 4 out of 5 score, noting that the game is “a great time, acting as an excellent entry point for newcomers and a treat for series veterans as well. There’s an interesting story told across five meaty chapters, with plenty of content to see and discover. If you’ve yet to experience a non-spinoff in the series, Origins is the perfect place to start.”
