JSAUX has announced another new accessory for the Nintendo Switch 2, known as the Obsidian AR Screen Protector. The price and release date of the screen protector are currently unknown.
On the official store page, JSAUX outlines why the screen protector is called the “Obsidian AR”:
- Most screen protectors reflect light noticeably when the screen is off. But Obsidian AR is different — with PVD anti-reflective coating + high light transmittance, the screen remains as pure and deep as an original black mirror. It resembles a slab of polished obsidian — dark, clean, and seamless. A true anti-glare screen protector shouldn’t just protect — it should enhance the visual quality beyond the original display.

- No glare rings, no haze — just a seamless surface
- Feels like there’s no film at all — yet looks sharper, cleaner, and even more premium than the bare screen
JSAUX released several Nintendo Switch 2 accessories alongside the launch of the console on June 5. One of the aforementioned accessories is the ModCase. The ModCase for the Nintendo Switch 2 features colors that match the console, anti-slip textures on the grips, a cover that protects both the Joy-Cons and the console’s screen, and storage for eight game cards.
Add-ons such as a metal kick stand, a cooling fan, a MagSafe phone mount, a Nintendo Switch 2 pro controller, or a power bank will also be available. JSAUX also revealed multiple charging docks for the Joy-Con 2, a new Joy-Con grip, all-in-one case, and travel case.
