VIZ Media it will be co-producing the anime adaptation of Keigo Shinzō’s Hirayasumi manga with Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co., Ltd. Production +h. is animating the Hirayasumi anime series, and a premiere date was not announced.
To celebrate the announcement, Shinzō shared a new visual (below on the right) with the following message: “I’m so happy to hear it’s being adapted into an anime and a drama! I’m really looking forward to seeing both shows!”
Shinzō launched the Hirayasumi manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine in April 2021, and Shogakukan will publish the manga’s ninth compiled book volume on July 30. The series surpassed 1.1 million copies in circulation. VIZ Media licensed the manga and began to publish it in May 2024, and six volumes have been released in print thus far.
