A new IMAX poster for the first Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Infinity Castle anime film was revealed on the franchise’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. The Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Infinity Castle IMAX poster depicts Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka.
Crunchyroll will host a special panel for the first new Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Infinity Castle film at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 on July 26 at 5:45 p.m. PDT. The panel will be held in the acclaimed Hall H, and it will be the first time that the anime’s representatives from ufotable have come to the US since 2019.
Director Haruo Sotozaki, director of photography Yuichi Terao, Natsuki Hanae (voice of Tanjiro), Aleks Le (English voice of Zenitsu) and theme song artist LiSA will make appearances at the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Infinity Castle San Diego Comic-Con 2025 panel. There will be discussions about the movie, along with an exclusive footage presentation. Moreover, the Crunchyroll booth (#4135) will have interactive activities inspired by the new film.
The first film in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle trilogy premiered on July 18 in Japan. The move is playing on 443 screens through Japan, setting a new record for the franchise. The film will come to the US and Canada on September 12.
Haruo Sotozaki returns as director of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, . In addition, Akira Matsushima is the anime film’s character designer and chief animation director at studio ufotable.
Lastly, Aimer performs the theme song “Taiyō ga Noboranai Sekai (A World Where the Sun Never Rises),” while LiSA performs the song “Zankoku no Yoru ni Kagayake (Shine in the Cruel Night).”
