Atari x PAC-MAN Collection Products Revealed, Including New Atari 50 DLC

To celebrate the franchise’s 45th anniversary, Atari is teaming up with Bandai Namco to launch the Atari x PAC-MAN Collection, which includes new merchandise and gaming products themed after the iconic game and character. The collection includes a home release of PAC-MAN for the Atari 2600, a special edition Atari 2600+, and much more. 

Atari 2600+ PAC-MAN Edition, manufactured by Plaion, is available to pre-order for $169.99 featuring the console in signature PAC-MAN yellow, a PAC-MAN: Double Feature 2-in-1 cartridge, and a PAC-MAN Edition of the Atari CX40+ Wireless Joystick. The PAC-MAN Double Feature 2-in-1 Cartridge includes PAC-MAN 7800, a new arcade-style version of the game, along with PAC-MAN 2600. Moreover, the CX40+ Wireless Joystick may be purchased separately for $39.99 each in five colors: PAC-MAN (Yellow), Blinky (Red), Inky (Blue), Pinky (Pink), and Clyde (Orange).

Atari is also releasing High Score Collection for the Atari 7800 for $139.99, GALAGA, DIG DUG, XEVIOUS, and the all-new PAC-MAN: Double Feature game. Each games is individually packaged in exclusive collector’s packaging with full-color user manuals for $139.99, and each game will be sold separately for $34.99. What’s more, during San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Atari will distribute 1,000 exclusive Golden Editions of PAC-MAN: Double Feature (MSRP: $99.99). Each copy includes a 2-in-1 cartridge in one of five surprise Team Ghost or the aforementioned PAC-MAN colors (red, blue, pink, orange or yellow), along with a limited-edition patch and pin. 

Lastly, Atari and Bandai Namco will release the new Namco Connection DLC for Atari 50 later this year for $7.99. The Namco Connection includes the best-selling PAC-MAN for Atari 2600 alongside other 2600, 5200 and 7800 games such as GALAGA, DIG DUG, XEVIOUS and GALAXIAN. The collection also features developer interviews, archival documents, photos, and more.
