Street Fighter 6 Releases Sagat Gameplay Trailer

Street Fighter 6 revealed the Sagat gameplay trailer on their official YouTube channel. Sagat retains much of his move set and powerful projectiles, including a classic costume.

The Year 3 DLC character Sagat launches on August 5. Additionally, the Year 3 Character Pass and Ultimate Pass are now available to purchase. Both passes include access to Sagat and the Proud Spire stage at launch.

Street Fighter 6 Sagat Trailer Premiere

The Street Fighter 6 Character Pass includes:

  • Sagat – August 5
  • C. Viper – Autumn 2025
  • Alex – Early Spring 2026
  • Ingrid – Late Spring 2026
  • Outfit 1 Colors 3-10

Moreover, the Ultimate Pass includes everything above plus:

  • Outfit 2 and 3 Colors 3-10
  • Extra stage
  • 5800 total Drive Tickets

However, please note that pre-orders for the passes are open on Nintendo Switch 2 until August 4, 2025. For fans looking forward to more Outfit 4 costumes, Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Jamie, Manon, AKI, and Kimberly will receive Outfit 4 costumes alongside the Sagat update on August 5.

Recently, Capcom revealed that Street Fighter 6 has now sold over 5 million copies, according to the game’s X (formerly Twitter) account. This marks another significant milestone for the game, so the developers revealed an illustration to celebrate this achievement. 

Street Fighter 6 is available now on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. On Nintendo Switch 2, Street Fighter 6 features a new Local Wireless mode. Local Wireless also includes Avatar Matches, allowing players to use their custom avatar from World Tour. What’s more, the Nintendo Switch 2 version supports tabletop mode with single Joy-Con play, Gyro Battle using dynamic motion controls. There’s also Calorie Contest Mode, which allows players to test their strength and endurance with exercises.
