SEGA STORE TOKYO will open on Friday, July 18 on the sixth floor of Shibuya PARCO as SEGA’s first official retail outlet in Japan. Ahead of the store’s opening, SEGA launched an official English-language website for the new store in order to help any international fans looking to check out the new merchandise and participate in store activities.
The new store is described as the “culmination of 60 years of iconic SEGA characters and entertainment content,” as SEGA continues to expand its global transmedia strategy. This store opening follows the successful launch of SEGA STORE SHANGHAI in May 2025, as the new retail location is set up to be the flagship location for the Tokyo-based video game publisher.
SEGA STORE TOKYO will offer a wide range of merchandise, including exclusive items and fan-favorite goods from SEGA and ATLUS franchises like Persona, Like a Dragon, Sonic the Hedgehog, and more. To celebrate the grand opening, the new store will give away free SEGA tumblers with any purchase of ¥7,000 or more, while supplies last. Each tumbler will come in a random color: white, black, silver, or an elusive gold.
