Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and Dungeon ∞ Spiral Collaboration Announced

Sony Music Solutions announced a collaboration between the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime series and the Dungeon ∞ Spiral attraction at Shinjuku’s Tokyu Kabukicho Tower. Players can experience the world of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End in the full-body action RPG experience that Dungeon ∞ Spiral is known to offer.

The limited-time Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End collaboration will be held from July 18 to September 23 at Dungeon ∞ Spiral, located on the fourth floor of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku, Tokyo.​ Players will be able to team up in parties of two to three and challenge monsters, solve quests, and win gold medals, and while the collaboration is ongoing, players can select Frieren, Fern, Stark, or Himmel as a “Buddy Character” (¥1,500, tax
included). Gameplay is fully available in English, with Frieren characters speaking in Japanese with English subtitles. Each Buddy has several new voice lines with stylish cut-in animations.

Choose a Buddy to receive a limited-edition “Buddy Crystal” acrylic block as proof of your playtime with the characters from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. In addition, a Premium Set (¥3,000) will be available with a Buddy Crystal and two “Memory Crystal” keychains featuring beautiful anime scenes. A full set with all characters and an exclusive shopper bag is also available alongside new merchandise and chibi character goods. The first wave of products will be announced on the official site.

Moreover, players who try out Dungeon ∞ Spiral during the event get access to a free digital photo booth. The booth gives you the opportunity to take pictures with Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End characters and share them online. Availability may be limited during peak hours, however, so check for signs at the venue and updates.

Starting August 1, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End themed treats and prizes will be available throughout Tokyu Kabukicho Tower. Visit namco TOKYO on the third floor to experience Frieren-themed collab food, drinks, and crane games and earn an exclusive coaster with your order. On floor 17, JAM17 GELATERIA will offer Frieren-inspired gelato with another exclusive coaster.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 will stream on Crunchyroll, starting in January 2026. The staff of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 includes producer Yuichiro Fukushi and director Tomoya Kitagawa. Keiichiro Saito is the supervising director. Lastly, all 28 episodes of the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 1 are streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
