Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 Trailer Reveals New Ending Theme Song by OneRepublic

A new trailer for Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 has been released, confirming a new cast member and the ending theme song “Beautiful Colors” by OneRepublic. Kotono Mitsuishi joins the cast of Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 as Kikoru’s late mother Hikaru Shinomiya.

Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora performs the Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 opening theme song “You Can’t Run From Yourself.” Other new cast members for Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 include Hiroki Yasumoto as Eiji Hasegawa and Kana Hanazawa as Rin Shinonome.

Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 will premiere on July 19, and the original Kaiju No. 8 side story episode “Hoshina’s Day Off” is now streaming on Crunchyroll. Yūto Tsukuda is the writer for the compilation film’s new episode, and Yuichiro Kido is the scriptwriter. OneRepublic performs the ending theme song “Invincible.”

This past June, Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website confirmed that Naoya Matsumoto is ending the Kaiju No. 8 manga series with chapter 129. Kaiju No. 8 chapter 129 is expected to release on July 17, according to Manga Plus.
