Netflix announced the English dub of the Yaiba: Samurai Legend anime will premiere on August 15, and the cast of the English dub was revealed. The English dub of Yaiba: Samurai Legend will be available alongside Spanish (LATAM) and Brazilian Portuguese dubs.
The English dub cast includes:
- Erica Mendez as Yaiba
- Rebecca Wang as Sayaka
- Craig Lee Thomas as Kenjuro
- Christopher Corey Smith as Musashi
- Alan Lee as Onimaru
The Yaiba: Samurai Legend anime made its debut on April 5 on Netflix and Hulu, and the second cour began on June 28. Sayaka Senbongi joined the cast as Nadeshiko Yamato, with the voice cast of the first cour reprising their roles. Blue Encount performs a new opening theme song “Blade,” and Kairi Yagi and Denon Yuugi performs the ending theme song “Action!”
Gōshō Aoyama’s hit manga made its debut in September 1988 on Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. The series finished in December 1993 with 24 compiled book volumes.
