Saroasis Studios announced the closed beta test for free-to-play anime hero shooter Fate Trigger will begin on July 24 at 7:00 p.m. PDT / 10:00 p.m. EDT on Steam. In addition, a new trailer was released to give fans a preview of what’s to come.

Following a highly successful closed alpha test on Steam with over 300,000 applicants, players now have the opportunity to sign-up for the Fate Trigger closed beta test. The closed beta test will introduce three new playable heroes: Bloodprowler Ryoin, Crystalscar Cynric and Lootracer Mindy. This brings the total number of playable characters up to 10 for the closed beta test.

The classic battle royale mode that players can come to expect will return in Fate Trigger, but there will also be new game modes to play. The closed beta test will offer Ranked Matches, Quick Trials and an 8v8 Team Deathmatch mode. Moreover, the number of weapons and vehicles were increased. There will be five additional weapons and two new vehicles.

Fate Trigger players can test out the all-terrain armored SUV with closable windows that are designed to withstand enemy assaults or push through danger zones.  A new motorcycle gives players a stealthy and fast option that can flank enemy players and infiltrate zones.

Fate Trigger is coming soon to Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. In September 2024, Final Weapon had the opportunity to preview Fate Trigger and see what the battle royale game has to offer. Lastly, our full write-up can be read here.
