During an Anime Expo 2025 panel, Yomiuri TV unveiled a trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of Aki Akimoto’s Mechanical Marie (Kikaijikake no Marie) manga. The trailer revealed additional cast members and confirmed the anime’s October premiere.

Akimoto’s Mechanical Marie manga was released as a one-shot in Hakusensha’s LaLa shojo manga magazine in March 2020, and then serialized there from June 2020 to June 2023. Yen Press is licensing the manga and will release the first volume in August 2025.
Pony Canyon describes the upcoming anime as follows:
