GungHo Online Entertainment and Nihon Falcom revealed new details about Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter going over tactical orbments and quartz. Like many other entries in the Trails series, players can equip quartz to enhance character’s stats and unlock various orbal arts in Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter.
In Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, there are seven elements of quartz — Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Time, Space, and Mirage. When inserted into a tactical orbment, the elemental values of all quartz within each engraved orbment line are summed up separately. Arts can be used when elemental values requirements are met, according to the game’s official website.
The Auto-Equip feature can be used to easily customize your tactical orbments in Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. This feature automatically equips quartz based on your preferences, allowing you to choose between Balanced, Physical, and Speed-based builds.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter launches September 19 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. North American fans can pre-order the Standard Edition at retail and Collector’s Editions through Limited Run Games starting June 17. European fans can pre-order the Standard Edition and the Collector’s Edition through Clear River Games and other major retailers.
