    Animal Crossing: New Horizons Version 2.0.8 Patch Notes Released

    Features bug fixes on the Nintendo Switch 2.

    Nintendo has released version 2.0.8 for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which features several bug fixes for playing on the Nintendo Switch 2. The patch is available now on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. 

    The patch notes are as follows:

    Fixed bugs on Nintendo Switch 2

    • Fixed an issue where the game could not progress when attempting to change the door decoration variation while suggesting a resident’s home exterior to Tom Nook at Resident Services.

    Other Fixes

    • Fixed an issue where newly crafted fencing would not be added to the player’s inventory if a remade version of the same fence was already in their pocket.
    • Other adjustments and corrections were made to improve the game play experience.

    While a Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the game is backwards compatible with the console. Further, you can transfer your islands from the original Switch to the Switch 2. New Horizons initially released in 2020. The eShop describes it as follows:
