The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity
This new hit anime based on Saka Mikami’s manga with the same name is arguably the most anticipated romance anime of the year. The romantic story revolves around two rival schools: Chidori High, for delinquent boys, and the prestigious Kikyo Girls’ High. It follows the story of Rintaro, a Chidori High student who may look like a delinquent but is a softie. While working in his parents’ shop, he meets Kaoruko, and the two immediately hit it off. However, things get complicated when he learns she is a student of Kikyo High. To make it all worse, she is oblivious to the animosity between the two schools. The anime is set to air on July 5.
Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2
Cloverworks returns with the second season of Bunny Girl Senpai. The Bunny Girl franchise has been busy since the first season aired in 2018, releasing three hit movies since then. This season will focus on Sakuta Azusagawa as he navigates university life, where a new mystery surfaces that could put Mai in danger. The latest installment is titled Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus and is scheduled to air on July 5, 2025.
Call of the Night Season 2
The hit anime finally returns for its second season after fans have been clamoring for it since the first season ended. Call of the Night took the anime community by storm with its first season. While many didn’t expect it to be an immediate success after its first episode, the anime immediately won fans over with the chemistry of the male and female leads. This season will continue Kou’s quest to obtain vampirism as he tries his hardest to fall in love with Nazuna. Creepy Nuts will perform the anime’s opening theme, and the anime is set to air in July.
Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex
The anime follows the life of Marie, a poor baron’s daughter who is neglected and forced to live in the shadow of her sister. Her sister enjoys all the love from high society and her parents, while Marie struggles to own a single dress. However, things take a surprising turn when her sister dies on her way to her wedding. The baron decides to send Marie as a substitute, as he can no longer pay back the dowry. However, after arriving at the Earl’s house, she learns things may not be as simple as she hoped. The anime will air on July 4.
The Mikadono Sisters Are Surprisingly Easy
The story follows the life of Yuu, the son of a legendary actress who struggles to live up to the legacy of his late mother. Following his mother’s death, he is taken in by the Mikadono family and introduced to their three brilliant daughters, who are talented in their respective fields. He enrolls at the prestigious Saika Academy, where the Mikadono sisters are hailed as emperors. Despite Yuu’s lack of talent, he aims to fulfill his mother’s last wish and strives to have a happy family. This leads Yuu to try and form bonds with the Mikadono sisters. However, this is easier said than done, as the girls have little interest in him or each other. The Mikadono Sisters Are Surprisingly Easy will air on July 9.
My Dress Up Darling Season 2
Following the massive success of the first season, My Dress Up Darling will be returning for its second season in July. The story focuses on Wakana Gojo, a shy but talented hina doll maker, and Marin Kitagawa, the popular girl in class. The two bond over their love for cosplay and begin working together to showcase some beautiful cosplays. Season 2 will continue to build on their budding relationship while showcasing some fantastic new cosplays.
