The Taiwan Ratings Board has rated Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, as spotted by Gematsu. This appears to be an upgraded version of Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, which was previously released as a mobile game for Android and iOS. Natsume has not announced the new version of Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home for PS5 and Switch at the time of this writing.
Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home is Natsume’s first fully produced mobile game in the Harvest Moon series. The game features controller support and cloud saves. Since controller support is now available in Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, players have the option to choose their play style in order to farm, fish, tend to animals, and more. Cloud saves ensure players can continue making progress across multiple devices, including tablets and smartphones.
In Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, players leave the city life behind to return to their childhood village, Alba. However, the village is not as prosperous as it once was, since the population is getting older and the younger villagers are leaving for the city. Fortunately, there’s still potential in Alba, as the beautiful environment could invite tourists and new residents.
Final Weapon previously reviewed Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home in December 2024 and gave it a 2.5 out of 5 score. Our review states that “Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home offers a decent and semi-complete farming experience. However, it falls short, and lacks a way to make it stand out from the sea of mobile game releases in the farming game sphere.”
