    Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie Part 1 Reveals Trailer and Spring 2026 Debut

    The first part of the Sound! Euphonium Finale releases in 2026

    A teaser trailer for the first part of the final movie series in the Sound! Euphorium franchise was released, revealing that the anime film will debut sometime in spring 2026. However, the exact release date hasn’t been announced yet. The teaser featured the ending theme song from Season 3, “Neiro no Kanata.”

    Kyoto Animation will once again be animating the series. The first season was released in April 2015, and season 2 was released immediately after in 2016. The third and last season was released in April 2024. In between the first and second seasons, two movies were released: Sound Euphonium: Our Promise: A Brand New Day and Sound Euphonium: Ensemble Contest Arc.

    Yen Press is in charge of licensing and publishing the Sound Euphonium’s novels in English and describes the story as follows:

    Finding herself, one note at a time… After a terrible disappointment at the All-Kyoto Concert Band Competition, music has lost its spark for Kumiko. But her first year at Kitauji High School is a chance for a fresh start. So when it comes time to choose a club, she can’t resist joining the band again–even though they’re simply terrible. The strict new club director has promised to whip them into shape to reach Nationals, but the trouble runs deeper than just a lack of practice. Plus, the discord within the club tugs at Kumiko’s old insecurities. Will Kitauji High School find its rhythm before the competition? Will Kumiko?
