SEGA has released a trailer for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, highlighting the game’s many new features. Among these features are Dual Ultimates, which allow players to use certain character combinations to unleash new and devastating attacks.
Another of the new features in Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a gear system, allowing players to equip up to three items on their character in Story and VS Modes. While playing in these modes, players will increase their character’s mastery level. Each level up unlocks different rewards, including stickers and background images for their online Slayer ID.
There will also be Training Paths, allowing players to pick their path to follow and challenge the Hashira through a series of tournament brackets with ever-changing victory conditions. Moreover, the game features a new mode called “The Path of a Demon Slayer,” which gives players a refresher on the story covered in The Hinokami Chronicles. This includes key battles from the Unwavering Resolve Arc up to the Mugen Train Arc.
