    Kaiju No. 8 Manga is Ending in Just Two Chapters

    A surprising announcement ahead of the anime's return.

    Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website confirmed that Naoya Matsumoto is ending the Kaiju No. 8 manga series in just two chapters. Kaiju No. 8 chapter 128 will release on June 20, followed by chapter 129 to mark the ending of the manga. 

    Fans can also look forward to Kaiju No. 8 Season 2, which will premiere on July 19 on TV Tokyo and affiliated channels at 11:00 p.m. JST / 10:00 a.m. EDT. It will also air on X (formerly Twitter) and Crunchyroll worldwide as it airs in Japan.

    Moreover, the original Kaiju No. 8 side story episode “Hoshina’s Day Off” will air on Japanese TV, including TV Tokyo and affiliated channels, and X on July 5 at 11:00 p.m. JST / 10:00 a.m. EDT.  Yūto Tsukuda is the writer for the compilation film’s new episode, and Yuichiro Kido is the scriptwriter. OneRepublic performs the ending theme song “Invincible.”

    Kaiju No. 8: The Game is coming soon, and the game has surpassed 300,000 pre-registrations worldwide. Pre-registration is available on iOS via App Store, Android via Google Play, and PC via Steam. For meeting 300,000 pre-registrations, all Kaiju No. 8: The Game players will receive 100,000 Credits, 1,000 Dimensional Crystals, and The Game Gacha Ticket x10 at launch.
