Verdigo Games and Eidos Montréal have announced Thief VR: Legacy of Shadows, a new entry in the cult classic franchise. It will release in 2025 for PlayStation 5 using the PlayStation Vr2.
Thief is a beloved stealth game created by Looking Glass Studios and Eidos Interactive in 1998. It grew into a franchise which would encompass Thief: The Dark Project, Thief II: The Metal Age, Thief: Deadly Shadows, Thief: Gold, and a reboot simply titled Thief. The reboot is the most recent entry in the series, which released in 2014. The new VR game will feature story elements from the original trilogy.
