Grasshopper Manufacture has revealed its next game, Romeo is a Dead Man, a new action game directed by Suda51. It will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows in 2026.
Suda51 has directed numerous other action games such as No More Heroes, Killer7, and Lollipop Chainsaw. He now lends his creativity to Grasshopper Manufacture’s next game: Romeo is a Dead Man. Additionally, the announcement comes after Suda51 stated in 2024 that, “next year, I’ll announce a new title. Probably. Hopefully.” Recently, Grasshopper Manufacture released Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered. It launched on October 31, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC via Steam.

Romeo’s search for these space-time fugitives ends up intertwining with his search for his suddenly missing girlfriend, the mysterious Juliet… You’ll just have to play the game to see how (and even if) these mysteries unravel, but after all is said and done (and dead), will Romeo be able to see the tears of time?!
