Arc System Works and Marvel Games have announced MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a brand-new 4v4 tag-fighting game. The game will release in 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls marks the first new Marvel fighting game in nearly ten years, with the last one being Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. Last year, Capcom released the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, which features X-Men Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, and The Punisher.
So far, the game includes the following characters: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Storm, Ghost Rider, Ms. Marvel, Star Lord, and Dr. Doom. Arc System Works’ last major game, Guilty Gear Strive, is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows. Recently, the game added Unika, the latest character in Season 4. After Unika releases, Guilty Gear Strive DLC character Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will release in summer 2025.
More news about Guilty Gear Strive and MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls may come during EVO 2025, which will run from August 1 to 3 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. The game is featured alongside Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Mortal Kombat 1, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and Marvel vs Capcom 2.
