Hero Games and PAN STUDIO announced the second closed beta test for anime-style mobile RPG Duet Night Abyss will be held from June 12 at 10:00 (UTC+8) until July 2 at 17:00 (UTC+8). Recruitment for the second closed beta test is now available until June 2 on the game’s official website.
The Duet Night Abyss second closed beta test will be available on Android, iOS, and PC with cross-play and English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) language options. The test features the new Children From the Snowfield story chapter, new playable characters, and enhanced visual performance. What’s more, the latest trailer highlights the featured character Truffle and Filbert, voiced by Lizzie Waterworth-Santo and Aki Toyosaki, respectively.
This past February, the first closed beta test gave players a tease of the new co-op mode, roguelike mechanics, and a pet system. The co-op mode lets players team up with up to three friends. Fina, Hellfire, Randy, Margie, Yale and Oliver, and Sibylle were introduced as new characters, and the pet system brings loyal companions that provide support during battles.
The new roguelike gameplay mode operates independently of Duet Night Abyss‘ standard progression. A variety of random buffs can bring diverse effects and enhancements. Players can select different buffs after each battle and encounter random events during exploration. Buffs can be freely combined, the roguelike elements ensure the mode offers a fresh experience with each session.
Lastly, Duet Night Abyss is coming soon to Android, iOS, and PC via Windows.
