The Pokémon Company and Niantic announced the Ancients Recovered event for Pokémon GO will be held from June 23 at 10:00 a.m. to June 27 at 8:00 p.m. local time during Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global. Five-star raids, six-star Max Battles, Timed Research, and a Global Challenge will also be available during the Pokémon GO Ancients Recovered event.

Purchase a Timed Research: Fleeting Legends Ticket for $7.99 between June 23 at 10:00 a.m. to June 29 at 6:00 p.m. local time to receive event-exclusive Timed Research. The Timed Research includes an encounter with your choice of Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, or Galarian Moltres.
Global Challenge
The Ancients Recovered Global Challenge will run from Sunday, June 22, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (20:00 UTC) to June 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (20:00 UTC). If the challenge is completed on time, all Trainers can benefit from the following bonuses until the end of the global GO Fest event.
- Premier Balls will be more effective at catching Pokémon after raids.
- Party Power will charge faster in raids.
Event Bonuses
- Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 30 from Monday, June 23, to Thursday, June 26, 2025.
- No Remote Raid limit from Friday, June 27, to Sunday, June 29, 2025.
- Trainers level 31 and up are guaranteed to receive Candy XL for trading Pokémon from June 23 at 10:00 a.m. local time to June 29 at 11:59 p.m. local time.
- Trainers can receive special event stickers from PokéStops and Gifts.
Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be held at the Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka on May 29 through June 1, 2025. Afterward, Pokémon GO Fest 2025 heads to Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey on June 6 through June 8, followed by the Parc de Sceaux outside Paris, France on June 13 through 15. Trainers who are unable to attend the in-person events can participate in the Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global event from June 28 to June 29. Tickets are available at Niantic’s official ticketing website, and global tickets are available in the in-game shop.
