Marvelous revealed a new feature in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma lets players use a technique to travel between worlds and timelines to pursue additional romance options with marriageable bachelors and bachelorettes. Players can use this feature to head to an alternate future, without losing any progress.
When using the feature, players maintain their current family, level, inventory, and other notable items. In Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, each save data can have up to 30 different timelines, and players can travel freely between worlds. This allows players to explore all the possible romance options without having to completely start over.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will be available for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam on June 5. A Digital Deluxe DLC set will be available with the Seasons of Love Bundle and the Festive Attire and Dark Woolby Bundle for $9.99. In addition, a Super Digital Deluxe DLC set will be available for $19.99 featuring Digital Deluxe DLC, a digital soundtrack, and a digital art book.
A Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma Earth Dancer Edition will be sold for $99.99 in the Marvelous USA store. This physical edition includes a custom box, original soundtrack CD, an artbook, a special folding fan, the Seasons of Love, additional DLC costumes, and a Woolby plush keychain.
Lastly, fans can also look forward to Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin collaboration DLC for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. Sakuna will be a resident of Azuma, acting as an NPC thatplayers can interact with at her home where she continues to cultivate rice. Players will be able to befriend Sakuna and invite her to the party for battle.
