    Pokémon GO Reveals New Serene Retreat, Instrumental Wonders and Phantom Ruins Events

    The Pokémon Company and Niantic announced three special event weekends for Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Serene Retreat (May 30 – June 3), Instrumental Wonders (June 7 – June 11), and Phantom Ruins (June 14 – June 18). Every event brings new wild encounters, six-star Max Battles, updated challenges, and much more.

    During Serene Retreat, Pokémon GO players can encounter a variety of Pokémon in the wild, including, Chansey, Marill, Furfrou, Cutiey, Morelull, Komala, Hatenna, Snorlax and Chimecho. Gigantamax Rillaboom will also make its Pokémon GO debut during six-star Max Battles from May 31 at 6:00 a.m. to June 1 at 9:00 p.m. local time. There will also be Collection Challenges, Field Research Task encounters, Paid Timed Research ($1.99), and a Serene Retreat Ultra Ticket Box ($1.99). 

    The Instrumental Wonders event features wild encounters with Meowth, Hoppip, Ferroseed, Galarian Stunsk, Golett, Tadbulb, Chimecho, Beldum, and Falinks. Many of these Pokémon will also appear in one-star and three-star raids from June 7 at 10:00 to June 11 at 8:00 p.m. local time. Gigantamax Cinderace will make its debut in Max Battles from June 7 at 6:00 a.m. to June 8 at 9:00 p.m. local time. Similarly to Serene Retreat, Instrumental Wonders will also feature Collection Challenges, Paid Timed Research, and a dedicated Ultra Ticket Box.

    Lastly, Phantom Ruins will feature wild encounters with Rhyhorn, Duskull, Skorupi, Drilbur, Archen, Gothita, Golett, Phantump, Sableye, and Chimecho, along with incense encounters. Gigantamax Inteleon will also begin to appear in Max Battles from June 14 at 6:00 a.m. to June 15 at 9:00 p.m. local time. Once more, the event will feature also feature Collection Challenges, Paid Timed Research, and an exclusive Ultra Ticket Box.

    Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be held at the Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka on May 29 through June 1, 2025. Afterward, Pokémon GO Fest 2025 heads to Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey on June 6 through June 8, followed by the Parc de Sceaux outside Paris, France on June 13 through 15. Trainers who are unable to attend the in-person events can participate in the Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global event from June 28 to June 29. Tickets are available at Niantic’s official ticketing website, and global tickets are available in the in-game shop.
