Shin’en Multimedia confirmed that the developers are already working on a free content update for FAST Fusion, which launches on June 5 as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. It’s unclear what the content update exactly entails, but those already sold on FAST Fusion can pre-order the game now for $14.99 in the Nintendo eShop.
Update: Shin’en Multimedia, via Nintendo Life, revealed new details on the performance modes for FAST Fusion.
Docked
- Performance – 1080p, 60 FPS, HDR
- Balanced – 1440p, 60 FPS, HDR
- Quality – Mixed 4K/1080p, 60 FPS, HDR – menus and HUD overlays in 4K
- Ultra Quality – 4K, 30 FPS, HDR – super sharp visuals, ultra level of detail, ultra quality 4K/8K Shadowmaps
Handheld
- Performance – 1080p, 60 FPS, HDR
- Ultra Quality – 1080p, 30 FPS, HDR – ultra level of detail, ultra quality 4K/8K Shadowmaps
What’s more, a patch to bring Quality Mode up to full 4K at 60 FPS is also in the works. A 120 FPS performance mode is in the works for a future update.
Previously, Shin’en Multimedia confirmed voice actor Jack Merluzzi (Mega Man X7, F-ZERO GX, Tekken 5) will return as the announcer for FAST Fusion. Before FAST Fusion, players can also listen to him in F-ZERO GX, which will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 with Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members.
