    Suikoden: Star Leap Reveals Several New Characters and Trailers

    Konami released a new story trailer for Suikoden: Star Leap, along with various new trailers highlighting several characters and key locations. 

    The latest details on characters and locations from Suikoden: Star Leap, along with trailers, are available below, via Gematsu:

    Characters
        • Yua (CV: Liyuu) – The hero’s younger sister. Highly independent and passionate for cooking, she even goes on culinary training trips on her own. Highly sensitive to taste and smell, she has a promising future as a cuisineer.

        • Orhan (CV: Kazuhiko Inoue) – As a childhood buddy of Hou, he was also involved in the founding of the village. Similarly to his daughter, Shirin, he has a wide circle of friends and runs a tavern that people come to gossip in.

        • Farah (CV: Miho Wataya) – She works at the trading post and is always cheerful and lighthearted. She is often mistaken for a child, but rumor has it that she is even stronger than Hou due to lugging around so much luggage all the time.

        • Flanagan (CV:  Kengo Takanashi) – A powerful village guard sent by Shapur. His energy may make him appear like he lacks caution, but he is an open and honest person that quickly allowed him to fit in with the villagers.

        • Stendhal (CV: Inuko Inuyama) – A creature of the Rarby race who speaks our language and makes a living as an adventure-tale spinner. Having set his heart on writing the hero’s adventure chronology, he has forcefully moved into the archives room.

        • Odessa (CV: Haruka Shiraishi) – An aristocrat of the Scarlet Moon Empire whom the hero met during his journey. With her innate kindness and strong sense of justice, she rose up against the Empire and goes on to become the leader of the Liberation Army.

        • Flik (CV Yuichi Nakamura) – A traveling swordsman that Odessa and company encountered while being chased by the Empire. A bit of a show-off, but he has excellent swordsmanship and always makes sure to protect his allies. He later goes on to join the Liberation Army.

        • Viktor (CV: Katsuyuki Konishi) – Encounters Odessa during his journey, and being highly impressed by her strength of will, decides to fight alongside her. He has an easygoing and daring personality but his foundation in sword fighting is solid, and he later goes on to join the Liberation Army.

    Locations
        • The Village – A village located to the east of the great Scarlet Moon Empire. Perched on the shore of a large lake, there are multiple bodies of water within the village. Amongst the luscious nature, the Great Tree stands in the center of the village, acting as its symbol and watching over the lives of the people.

        • Gregminster – The capital of the Scarlet Moon Empire, the Gregminster Castle towering high. A thriving commercial city always full of energy and vitality, people from around the world visit this place. The city inn is frequented by many people, including those from the Hero’s village.

    The new Suikoden: Star Leap game is coming soon to Android and iOS. The new Suikoden: Star Leap game features gacha elements and events, but Suikoden: Star Leap retains the franchise’s signature combat system. Out of 108 stars, players can assemble a “dream team” of their favorite Suikoden heroes for battle. 

    Aki Shimizu, the manga author for the Suikoden III manga, returns to work on an official Suikoden: Star Leap manga series. Shimizu is also currently working on The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei series, with 10 volumes released so far. 

    Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on launch day, June 5. As previously announced, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will be a game-key card title, meaning the physical game card doesn’t contain game data and data must downloaded via the internet once inserted the first time into the system. 

    Lastly, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars launched on March 6 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam
