Mike Kayatta, the director of Remedy’s next game FBC: Firebreak, stated that he would “love to” bring the game to the Nintendo Switch 2 in a recent episode of Gamertag Radio. The game will release on June 17.

When asked about the potential for FBC: Firebreak on the Nintendo Switch 2, Kayatta stated the following: “I would love to do it. I think the Switch is awesome, I hope the Switch 2 is awesome as well, but right now we’re very focused on putting it on the platforms…we’ve got many platforms to get right. I would say, “never say never,” you know? Really, our goal will remain to get it into as many gamers’ hands as possible, so…let’s see.”

Recently, Remedy Entertainment announced that a closed technical test for FBC: Firebreak will take place from May 15 to May 19. Limited sign-ups for the technical test are available via Remedy’s official website. Remedy has not yet confirmed the contents of the upcoming test, or whether there will be a full beta in the weeks leading up to its launch. Pre-orders for the game are available now.

The Standard Edition will cost $39.99, while the Deluxe Edition will cost $49.99. The latter will include The Firestarter Armor Set, The Firestarter and Pencil Pusher voice pack, the Scorched Remnant Double-Barrel Shotgun skin, and the Golden Firebreak spray. It also includes the Firestarter Classified Requisition which features 12 armor sets, 12 gun skins, and 12 sprays.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will launch on June 5 for $449.99. A bundle will be available for $499.99 featuring Mario Kart World. Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 at Best BuyWalmart and Target went live on April 24 and quickly sold out within just a few hours. However, Nintendo and other retailers will periodically replenish stock leading into launch.
