Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital announced Gran Turismo 7 update 1.59 will launch on May 15 with four new cars, various World Circuits events, another Gran Turismo Sophy-compatible track, and a new featured Curation in Scapes.
Gran Turismo 7 update 1.59 adds the following four cars: Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C5) ’01, Ferrari 812 Superfast ’17, Honda CR-V e:HEV EX・Black Edition ’21, and Suzuki Carry KC ’12. The Lightweight K-Cup (Eiger Nordwand), American Clubman Cup 700 (Autódromo de Interlagos), and Ferrari Circuit Challenge (Deep Forest Raceway) events will be available in World Circuits.
Moreover, Gran Turismo Sophy will be available on Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix Layout. Look for the Sophy icon in Quick Race and Custom Race on the track to test your skills against the advanced racing AI. Lastly, the “Shooting the perfect square” will be available as a featured Curation in Scapes.

Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 5 is available now for PlayStation 5, giving Gran Turismo fans another game to try out. Moreover, it has cross-play with the existing Xbox Series X|S and PC versions, and you can expect it to support the new Gioteck FR5 Racing Wheel. Final Weapon reviewed the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5, giving it a 4.5 out of 5 score.
Gran Turismo 7 will continue to receive major updates on a near-monthly basis on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Polyphony Digital released the game’s free demo, My First GT, on December 6, 2024. Lastly, players may complete the demo to earn bonuses in Gran Turismo 7.
