Gaming chairs with the comfort and durability that gamers really need can cost upwards of $800 these days, but the Razer Iskur V2 X aims to bring a paradigm shift to the market at a very respectable price point of $299.99. This updated iteration of Razer’s Iskur V2 gaming chair offers the same wonderful features of its predecessor while offering a beautiful light gray colorway—a departure from the signature black and green aesthetic of Razer. The core features of the Razer Iskur V2 X make it a standout product as well.
Although assembly of the Razer Iskur V2 X involves the use of various included screws, the time to assemble the chair was quite short. I’d estimate that it only took 15 minutes by myself to assemble it out of the box, thanks to the easy step-by-step instructions that were very easy to follow. Assembly wasn’t strenuous for myself either, but it should be noted that two people are recommended to fully assemble the steel-framed chair. Of course, the seating experience is just as easygoing, which speaks to the quality and comfort.
Razer Iskur V2 X Brings The Right Features
The new Razer Iskur V2 X in light gray is comfortable with breathable fabrics that ensures it won’t heat up after prolonged game sessions. The colorway itself is more of a peppered gray instead of a flat tone, and I thoroughly enjoy the aesthetic, especially with the neat black Razer logo where the optional Razer Head Cushion Chroma is normally placed.
Razer Iskur V2 X retains the V2’s built-in lumbar support and dense foam cushions to maintain healthy back posture and decrease pressure during long gaming sessions. The seat cushion felt too firm and thin at first, but it’s quite comfortable after the first hour or so. The widened seat base casually glides you along to the center of the chair, resulting in less lower back pressure.

Anyone wanting to relax for a nap can take advantage of an adjustable 152-degree recline, which is adjusted via a dedicated level on the right side of the chair. The Iskur V2 X is quite sturdy when it locks into your desired recline angle, and the chair supports up to 299 lbs. While laying back on it, the Iskur V2 X continues to do what it does best: minimize back pressure and relieve stress. Admittedly, I won’t be using the recline much due to my work, but I appreciate
The included gas lift cylinder, 2D armrests, and 5 cm caster wheels round out the overall design of the chair. A plastic shell goes over the gas lift cylinder during the assembly process, and although the shell is quite cheap in quality, it has the signature Razer black coating. The same can be said for the 2D armrests and 6 cm caster wheels, with the former having height/swivel adjustability and a firm cushion to keep those elbows and forearms comfortable.

Absolutely Great for the Price
The Razer Iskur V2 X offers great comfort and an aesthetically pleasing design at an affordable $300 price point. If that price comes down even further with sales or coupons, then it’s an even bigger steal. There’s very little on the market that would even compete at this price without compromises in durability and quality. I can safely say the Razer Iskur V2 X is going to be a daily driver, and its lumbar support makes it very easy to say so.
Yes, the Razer Iskur V2 X doesn’t have the full breadth of features that its more expensive predecessor may have, but does it need those features? Absolutely not, since it strikes a balance between comfort and style while maintaining the quality I expect of Razer. In an unpredictable economy, this chair comes in clutch for gamers wanting to elevate their space, and it’s very eye catchy. Fortunately, it’s just as inviting to sit on as its looks entail.
