    The First Descendant Announces NieR: Automata Collaboration

    NEXON has announced that The First Descendant will soon have a collaboration with NieR: Automata. It also revealed new upcoming updates that will release in Summer for the free-to-play game. 

    The upcoming collaboration for The First Descendant will feature cosmetics based on A2 and 2B from NieR: Automata. It will mostly focus on “decorations,” however, there will also be a skin for 2B without her skirt, similar to her battle damaged design from the original game. 

    Additionally, NEXON also confirmed more details about the game’s third season. The season feature a new massive battlefield titled “Axion Plains,” a new hover bike vehicle, a new raid titled Colossus Field Raid, a new feature where players can interact with their descendants in a Lounge. There will also be a new story, new descendants and ultimates, and new weapons. Both Season 3 and the collaboration will release in Summer 2025. Other collaborations for The First Descendant are also in development.

    The First Descendant is a free third-person cooperative action RPG shooter featuring high-quality graphics. Experience the fun of strategic boss fights through 4-player co-op and various unique characters, exciting gunplay, and looting. A variety of equipment is necessary for growth, and you can obtain them through clearing scenario missions within the game or in the World Missions where cooperation is crucial and battles with huge bosses.

    The First Descendant is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Further, NieR: Automata is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
