Square Enix announced that NieR: Automata surpassed 9 million copies sold worldwide. The sales update includes digital copies sold and physical shipments across multiple platforms worldwide.
The previous sales update for NieR: Automata came in February 2024, with 8 million copies sold at the time. One million copies were sold between February and December 2024.
NieR: Automata is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. All 24 episodes of the NieR: Automata Ver1.1a anime series are available now to stream on Crunchyroll.
