    BIG updates coming!

    Published:

Bandai Namco announced that Tekken 8 DLC character Fahkumram will release in Summer 2025 as paid content. The developers released a teaser trailer at EVO Japan 2025, but there will also be another trailer for Fahkumram arriving at Combo Breaker 2025.

Fans can expect two more characters to arrive this year in autumn and winter, with an extra stage arriving in winter. The character arriving in autumn will be a returning character, and the winter character will be a new challenger. Additionally, Bandai Namco unveiled more details on patches 2.01, 2.02, and 2.03. Each patch will have balance adjustments, free content, and paid content. In particular, a PAC-MAN stage will be coming this summer.

The main changes to patch 2.01 overall will be:

    • Aerial combo damage will be mitigated
    • Heat Bursts performance will be revised

Many other changes will be included in this patch as well, so stay tuned. Moreover, after the 2.01 patch, the developers will continue to improve each character’s performance and the situations where one-sided games tend to occur. They will be taking into account user opinions and feedback during this entire process.

Previously, the 2.00.02 patch addressed some of the current issues occurring in season 2 so far. Listed below are the overall changes that will be included in this patch:

    • Increase Maximum Health to Allow for More Exchanges in Neutral
    • Gradual Adjustments to Overly High-Reward Moves
    • Rebalancing the Offensive and Defensive Aspects of the Heat System

The developers are aware that certain added moves and adjustments shifted too heavily toward offense in Season 2. As a result, they will be addressing issues in the following two stages:

    • Resolving issues that can be addressed quickly
    • Resolving issues that need to be reviewed over time based on fan feedback.

The overall goals with Season 2 are to improve the Heat System and improve controls to strengthen defensive techniques.

Tekken 8 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Additionally, Tekken 8 is officially a part of the EVO 2025 main game lineup. Stay tuned for more Tekken 8 guides and news at Final Weapon.
