The recent issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine has announced that the Go! Go! Loser Ranger! manga will go on hiatus starting on May 14 due to the health of its creator, Negi Haruba. It will return on June 11.

In February 2025, the Go! Go! Loser Ranger! manga went on hiatus for similar reasons. It would return on March 5. Negi Haruba launched the original manga in 2021. Season 2 of the anime adaptation is currently ongoing. Orange Range performs the OP, “Maji de Sekai Kaechau 5-byō Mae” (It’s Really 5 Seconds Before the World Changes). Fukurow note will perform the ending theme, “Seigi” (True False).

Keiichi Satō directs the season at Yostar Pictures. Keiichirō Ōchi will serve as series composition writer, Kahoko Koseki is the character designer, Kenji Hayama is the animation supervisor, and Yoshihiro Ike composes the soundtrack. The anime is available to watch on Disney Plus and Hulu. Kodansha distributes the manga series in English.

    Kodansha describes it as follows:

When the Monster Army invaded Earth thirteen years ago, the Divine Dragon Rangers rose up to stop them! With the war raging on, these great heroes are mankind’s last hope!

    …or are they?

In truth, the invaders were subjugated within a year, forced to continue to crank out a monster a week for the Rangers to crush in front of their adoring fans! But one monster has had enough. Something has to change! He’ll rebel against the might of the Dragon Rangers and destroy them all…from the inside!
