Sony Music has announced that the Neon Genesis Evangelion Wind Symphony will come to North America in August. Tickets for the upcoming tour are now on sale

The Neon Genesis Evangelion Wind Symphony will come to Toronto, Canada on August 26. On August 28, it will go to Irving, Texas. Lastly, on August 30, it will take place in Los Angeles, California. The tour commemorates the 30th anniversary of Neon Genesis Evangelion

Recently, Pixelity Inc. announced a Neon Genesis Evangelion XR game. The expanded reality game will be a trilogy that adapts the original anime in its entirety. The platforms that the game will be available on are currently unknown. However, Pixelity has confirmed that players will take control of an original character in the world of Evangelion.

They’ll be able to take on quests, thrilling battles, interactive gameplay with beloved characters from the series, and follow key events from the original series. The first installment of the trilogy will release in 2026. Viz Media describes the original Neon Genesis Evangelion manga as follows:

In 2015, the “Angels” have returned, and Shinji Ikari, a fourteen year-old child of the new Earth, is forced by his father Gendo–commander of the secret organization NERV–to pilot the monstrous biomechanical weapon called “Evangelion” to match the Angels’ fearsome power…

Eva Vol. 1 contains a Japanese sound FX glossary plus a commentary by series mecha designer Ikuto Yamashita and the famous “confession letter” written by director Hideaki Anno in the months before the original TV premiere of Evangelion.

The Neon Genesis Evangelion Wind Symphony will come to North America in August.
