Ahead of the release of Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny, Capcom announced the new Hell mode will be available in an update to Onimusha Warlords on April 23. Hell mode is a very challenging difficulty setting where a single hit means instant death in Onimusha Warlords and Onimusha 2: Samurai Destiny.

Added New “Hell” Mode
You can now select the “Hell” difficulty from the Title Screen. This is an extremely difficult mode where any enemy attack, no matter how light or heavy, will instantly kill you. However, you will still be able to revive on the spot if you have a Talisman in your possession.
Note: You can earn the “Hell” Honor by completing this mode.
Added New Languages
The following languages are now available as display languages: Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Arabic, Latin American Spanish
Note: There are no additional voiced languages.
Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny will release on May 23 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Players who pre-order the game or purchase the Onimusha 1+2 Pack bundle early will receive the “Onimusha 2: Orchestra Album Selection Pack,” featuring orchestral music tracks and helpful in-game items. Additionally, players with save data from the 2019 remaster of Onimusha: Warlords can also unlock a special outfit for Jubei inspired by Samanosuke, the protagonist from the original game.
