Bandai Namco and developer Bandai Namco Forge Digitals announced SUPER ROBOT WARS Y will launch on August 28 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Various physical and digital editions were confirmed for Japan as well.
The standard edition of SUPER ROBOT WARS Y will be available physically and digitally featuring two additional area missions to obtain Cybuster, VangNex, and GranVang, along with the Special Starter Pack bonus mission. A Digital Deluxe Edition will be sold featuring the DLC #1 and #2 with a total of 10 new playable mechs, 32 new missions, and three additional crew members; Bonus Mission Pack with 15 standalone side missions and bonus mission; and Digital Deluxe Edition bonus content, including Enhancement Parts, Skill Programs, Credit, and MXP.
The Digital Ultimate Edition will be available featuring contents from the Digital Deluxe Edition; the Premium Sound & Data Pack featuring original music, anime songs, a bonus mission, and a 55-page digital artbook; and Digital Ultimate Edition bonus content such as another bonus mission and more Enhancement Parts, Skill Programs, Credit, and MXP.
Moreover, a 27,200 yen Super Limited Edition will be sold the physical game copy, the original soundtrack (76 tracks), an acrylic stand set, the Rundrache Robot Spirits figure, and Digital Ultimate Edition contents.
