Bye Bye, Earth Season 2 premiered in Japan on April 4 at 11:30 p.m. JST, and Crunchyroll is streaming the anime weekly as it airs in Japan. Who-ya Extended will perform the opening “Aufheben,” while ASCA will perform the ending theme “Moonwalk.”

The anime features a star-studded lineup of Japanese voice actors. Fairouz Ai and Kouki Uchimiya will retain their roles as Belle Lablac and Adonis, and most of the cast from season one will also retain their roles.

As for staff, Yasuto Nishikata will direct the anime at LIDENFILMS alongside his assistant director, Sōta Yokote. Hiroyuki Yoshino handles the series scripts, while Yūki Hino does the character design.

Yen Press is responsible for releasing the novel in English, and the company describes the series as follows:

Belle lives in a world where people take the forms of animals like cats, frogs, and mice—and she’s the odd one out! This peculiar fang-less, fur-less, scale-less, smooth-skinned girl sets off on a journey to find others like her. However, in order to travel freely, she’ll have to wield her Howling Sword and prove herself in battle!
