Netflix announced that it will stream the My Hero Academia: You’re Next anime movie starting April 20.
Kohei Horikoshi served as character designer and chief supervisor for My Hero Academia: You’re Next, which follows an original story. BONES animated the movie, and TOHO distributing it in Japanese theaters. TOHO International distributed the film in theaters this past October.
The voice cast of the My Hero Academia anime series returned for the film. Moreover, Mamoru Miyano and Meru Nukumi play the roles of original characters Giulio Gandini and Anna Scervino in the Japanese dub, respectively. The movie features the theme song “Homunculus” by Vaundy.
The My Hero Academia Vigilantes anime series is now streaming on Crunchyroll with same-day English dubs and subs. Kocchi no Kento will perform the opening theme song “Kekka Orai (All’s Well in the End)” for My Hero Academia Vigilantes. Rock band yutori will perform the ending theme song “Speed.”
Kenichi Suzuki is directing the anime series at BONES FILM. Yōsuke Kuroda will write and oversee the series scripts. Takahiko Yoshida is the character designer, and Yuki Hayashi is composing the music alongside Shōgo Yamashiro and Yūki Furuhashi.
