Koei Tecmo and Omega Force will release a new update for Warriors: Abyss will release on April 25 with a new “Depths of Torment” mode. The mode will give players the challenge of “a new hell,” but there are valuable rewards to earn from it.
According to Koei Tecmo on X (formerly Twitter), Depths of Torment is a new high-difficulty mode that lets Warriors: Abyss players carry over their party composition from game completion. Players can earn new rewards for character development depending on the results from their Depths of Torment run. Patch notes for the new update will be released soon, so stay tuned.
Koei Tecmo and Omega Force previously released the version 1.2.0 update for Warriors: Abyss, featuring playable characters Ryza, Sophie, and Yumia from the Atelier series. Alongside the Atelier characters, Warriors: Abyss update 1.2.0 improves the game’s performance on Nintendo Switch, adds new music tracks, and applies many bug fixes.
Moreover, the new Atelier Series Vacation Costume Set and Atelier Series Academy Costume Set DLC are now available. The DLC adds new swimsuit costumes and school uniforms for Ryza, Sophie, and Yumia.
Warriors: Abyss is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Patch notes for Warriors: Abyss update 1.2.0 and future updates may be read at the official website.
