GungHo Online Entertainment opened physical pre-orders for Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 at major retailers, including Video Games Plus, Amazon (non-affiliate), GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart and Target. A placeholder release date for the game is set for September 25, 2025.
What’s more, physical pre-orders for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will open at more major retailers soon. In North America, physical standard editions of Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 cost $59.99. Clear River Games will distribute the standard edition in Europe for €59.99. Limited Run Games will reveal a physical Collector’s Edition of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter at a later date.
Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter launches in fall 2025 worldwide for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. GungHo’s worldwide release features Japanese and English voice-overs with Japanese, English, French, and German language options.
